On Monday, October 24, students took advantage of the beautiful fall weather to spend the day hiking on Mt. Tammany. This trip was an extension of our physical education elective class entitled "outdoor education" where students explore and hike various nearby trails and parks.
Mount Tammany is the southernmost peak of the Kittatinny Mountains in Knowlton Township, Warren County. It is 1,526 feet tall, and forms the east side of the Delaware Water Gap. It is a challenging hike with steep and rocky slopes but everyone successfully reached the summit and the view at the top certainly made it worth the trip!
