HPS students had the opportunity to travel to the Raritan Valley Community College Theatre last week
to experience a powerful and educational performance about the Holocaust. The play told the story of Rachel Gold, a Berlin teenager, and followed her life from 1937 to 1945, beginning with the implementation of the Nuremberg Laws.
After the performance, students engaged in a thoughtful Q&A session with the cast, deepening their understanding of the story and its historical context. This immersive experience was a meaningful way to connect classroom learning in English and History to real-world storytelling and reflection.
