As part of an ongoing service learning project, our Summer Discovery program participated in 3 volunteer days at the Pittstown Grow-a-row location. Grow-a-row is a non-profit organization who grows produce to supply to various stores and food pantries.
Throughout the course of our time at Grow-a-row, students worked hard to harvest over 50,000 servings of eggplant, zucchini, and cucumbers. With a lot of teamwork and a little bit of sweat, our community was able to give back in a very big way.
