Last week several of our students spent some time at "America's Grow-a-Row" in Pittstown. Grow-a-Row grows fresh produce to provide to food desert areas in NJ and eastern PA where people lack access to healthy, fresh, affordable foods.
Our students and staff harvested corn, a difficult job, especially on a hot summer day! Working with another group, they harvested 6 bins and 4,800 lbs of corn in the two hours that they were there!
Way to go HPS!!
