Our PLEIN AIR PAINTING (a French term for "in the open air") theme week is off to a great start!
We took our watercolors to downtown Clinton to paint landscapes. It is very helpful to be able to paint in natural light and this really shows in the paintings! Plein air painting is about leaving the four walls of your studio behind and experiencing painting and drawing in the landscape.
