"Let's go see a poetry show"….says no one ever.
Unless, of course, you are a Hunterdon Prep student who loves the Mayhem Poets ability to combine hip hop, improv and stand-up comedy to tell their gut-wrenching truth stories!
Last week, a group of HPS students and staff had the opportunity to attend the Mayhem Poets performance at the Mayo Performing Arts Center in Morristown, NJ. Our group of young writers and poets was not only personally inspired by the Poets, but one of our students was invited up on stage for a portion of the performance! She was later spotted on the Mayhem Poets Instagram page!!
