Sign up to take the fall PSAT now (deadline is June 10)

Sign up to take the PSAT at HPS this Fall! Open to 10th and 11th graders (Class of 2028 and 2029)!

The PSAT will be given at Hunterdon Prep on October 8, 2026. There are a limited number of seats and the deadline to sign up is June 10. The cost of the test is $18.00 (Check made payable to Hunterdon Preparatory School).

This test is prioritized for those 11th graders (Class of 2028) who have not taken the PSAT yet and would like to practice before sitting for the actual SAT. There are seats available for 10th graders (Class of 2029) on a first come, first serve basis. The deadline to sign up is June 10, 2026 if you want to receive test accommodations (ex: extended time testing, text-to-speech, small group testing, extra breaks, etc). Once you sign up then a release form to apply for accommodations will be sent to you as it can take over 8 weeks for accommodations to be approved so they have to be applied for by the end of this school year for the fall.

Please fill out the the form here to sign up by June 10: PSAT SIGN UP

The PSAT is good practice for students who think they might want to attend a 2 or 4 year institution after high school. Most 4 year colleges require the SAT in their admissions process, while some 2 year (Community Colleges) use it for class placement.  This would allow students to gain familiarity with the testing process and format while also providing them with insight into where they would score if they took the regular SAT. I highly recommend any student considering post-secondary education (2 year or 4 year) to take the PSATs.

Please email Ms. Evancho at mevancho@hunterdonprep.org with any questions.
