HPS Prom 2026 parent information!

Countdown to Prom 2026!   

  • HPS Junior/Senior Prom will be held on Friday, June 5 from 6:00-10:00 PM
  • Dinner, DJ entertainment, fun and surprises are included in $75 per person fee!
  • Permission slips are available now (students should see Ms. Sanchez).
  • Once permission slips are returned, payments will be accepted beginning on Monday 5/18/26.

Here is some important Prom information for parents:

  • The HPS prom celebration for Seniors & Juniors (11th & 12th graders) will be held on campus.
  • If your student is interested in inviting a non-HPS student as their guest, advance arrangements must be made with our Principal, Mr. Schumann.
  • Transportation arrangements to and from Prom are to be made in advance of the event. Parents are responsible for coordinating arrival at Prom (no earlier than 5:45) and prompt departure/pick up by 10pm.
  • All students are expected to attend school the day of the Prom (Friday, June 5) and remain in school through 12:30pm.
  • If your student plans to leave school early for prom-prep on Friday, June 5, please send in a permission note or forward an email to Ms. Smith csmith@hunterdonprep.org and Mr. Schumann cschumann@hunterdonprep.org
  • Our professional photographer, Portraits by Dana® will make formal and informal images of our event available on a webpage from which you can order prints. More info as it develops.
  • If your student has plans to leave Prom before 10pm, please send us an email giving permission for them to do so. The emails can be directed to Mr. Schumann cschumann@hunterdonprep.org.
