We are off to a great start at HPS! There is a sense of optimism and hope filling our school halls. It is wonderful to see all our students acclimate so easily to their school routine.
At HPS, we focus on community and connection. Each year we all work together to establish a new community and develop shared connections. The Fall Picnic is where we begin this important work. During this annual event, students are provided the opportunity to build a foundation for relationships that can grow and develop throughout the school year.
This year our Fall Picnic will be on Friday, Sept. 9th. Students will attend their academic classes in the morning and begin the picnic festivities at lunchtime. HPS will provide hamburgers, hotdogs and veggie options. All students will be asked to bring in one additional picnic item. Sign-ups for the item will take place in homerooms.
REMINDER: If you are picking up your child from school, we ask that you come into the school to sign them out. Thank you!!
