Dear Parents,
A quick note about your child's STEM supplies for Summer Discovery!
In our class, we will be building and constructing small engineering projects. These projects require materials such as scissors, tape, and glue. These items are being provided by the school and will arrive in the Summer Discovery supplies box that you will be receiving soon. In that box you will also receive the first two projects (subsequent projects will be mailed out separately).
Each week, your child will complete one STEM project. These projects will be sent to you with all of the needed materials in a labeled bag for each week. One week your child will be making a 'pop can' using a soda can (please be assured that the can has already been washed and sterilized).
Your child will also receive a pair of safety goggles to be worn while completing these projects at home. Safety is always the primary concern, so please note the materials that your child will receive for their STEM class.
