Schedule for Student Drop Off and Pick Up of School Items

Dear Parents, Guardians, and Students:

The end of the school year is quickly approaching. Accordingly, we are wrapping up with a few of the logistical details for the return of personal items to students and also for the return of school items such as textbooks, Chromebooks, library books, calculators, etc. that your child may need to return to HPS.  The exchange of items will occur on both Monday, June 15th, and Tuesday, June 16th according to the schedule below. Student lockers will be cleaned out by our staff, and their contents will be made available during the drop-off.  Student items from the health office will also be available for pick up.

In order to make this a safe and orderly process, we will collect the materials via “curb-side” drop-off.  The nurse will meet cars in the first parking lot to assess any potential health concerns. From there you will proceed to the drop off point. Staff will approach your vehicle and collect the items you are dropping off and place them in a bag.  They will then give you any personal items that need to be returned.

We are following the guidelines for social distancing and will require all students and parents to wear masks while they are dropping off the materials. You will not be permitted to exit your vehicles or to enter the building.   If you are experiencing any symptoms consistent with COVID-19 (such as a fever or cough), please do not report to the school. We will arrange a time for your drop off.   We hope to run this as smoothly and efficiently as possible.

We ask that you adhere to the time you are assigned in order to follow the guidelines established for the safety of all. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Mr. Schumann at:  cschumann@hunterdonprep.org.
