BACK to SCHOOL FAQ
The first day of school will be Wednesday, September 2nd and it will be virtual. Your student will receive an email at their student email account to join a Google Classroom . The Google Classroom will contain a Zoom link to access our opening day meeting. The meeting will start at 8:50 am. That email will also include the schedule for the day.
Principal Chris Schumann will email the parents of new students with the information.
Wednesday, September 2nd – Half Day (8:50-12:30) – Virtual day for all students.
Thursday, September 3rd- Full Day (8:50-2:30) In-person classes for Troupe and Cave homerooms and virtual classes for Nest and Hive homerooms.
Friday, September 4th- Half Day (8:50 -12:30) In-person classes for Nest and Hive homerooms and virtual classes for Troupe and Cave homerooms.
Masks are required on days when students are attending in person. A signed COVID-19 Daily Screening Form is required for students upon entering the school building. Students will receive a health screening prior to entering the building and must comply with social distancing and health and safety guidelines throughout the day.
Students will follow their virtual schedule beginning at 8:50 am for morning community meeting. Students will receive a link (Zoom, Google Hangout, or Google Meet) to attend all of their scheduled classes. Students will follow their regular class schedule throughout the day.
Students will be assigned a Chromebook for their exclusive use while at school. Chromebooks will remain at school. If a student does not have a personal device for use at home, please contact Principal Schumann to make arrangements. If other school supplies are needed, teachers will notify students during the first weeks of school.

Yes, students will need to bring a bagged lunch, drinks, and utensils. Microwave ovens will not be available for use. Students may utilize their homeroom refrigerator to store their bagged lunch/snacks.
Sending districts arrange for student transportation. Any questions you have concerning transportation should be directed to your case manager or sending district’s transportation department. Students are required to wear a mask while riding the bus, and need to adhere to health and safety guidelines provided by their transportation company.
