Welcome letter from our Executive Director

Dear Hunterdon Preparatory School (HPS) Parents and Guardians,

I am excited to welcome you and your child to the 2025-2026 school year! We look forward to welcoming each student through our doors on the first day of school, Tuesday, September 2nd

Our staff are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to support your child on their educational journey. We understand the importance of choosing the right school, as your child deserves an environment where they can realize their potential, form connections, rekindle hope, and ultimately thrive. HPS takes pride in our collaborative approach, where students and staff work together to foster an environment where community members feel seen, valued, and respected. This takes direct and honest communication, cooperation, and patience. We believe that when we are working together, these things can happen.  I am confident we can all make this a successful year!

In the next few days, you will receive an email with important first-week school details. Please be on the lookout for it, as it contains information regarding transportation, schedules, school supply needs, and computers.

Also, we invite you to access our parent communication hub, Parent Connect, to stay informed about your child’s educational experience. Parent Connect, available on the school’s website at www.hunterdonprep.org, provides access to important information, including student forms, the Realtime portal, recent school emails, and a list of upcoming events.

Our school’s Student and Parent Handbook can be found in your Realtime "Parent Portal" under the Documents link. I strongly encourage you and your child to review the handbook before the first day of school.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us. We genuinely believe that we are best when working together!

We look forward to seeing you at our Back to School Night at HPS on Thursday, October 9th, from 7 to 9 PM.

Kindest regards,

Alisa Cooper-Kopacz, Executive Director
