SAT being given at HPS for Juniors

IN-SCHOOL SAT TESTING

New to HPS this year!

Is your child considering taking the SAT this spring to help with the college admissions process next fall?

We are happy to announce we will be offering HPS Juniors (Class of 2026) the opportunity to take the SAT in school, during the regular school day.

The SAT will be offered at Hunterdon Prep on one date only this spring, April 9th.

There are only 9 available spots. If your child is interested, you must fill out the sign up form (see link just below) and submit payment of a $60 (check made out to Hunterdon Preparatory School) by December 6, 2024, to hold their spot. SAT School Day Sign Up This is on a first-come, first serve basis. Once materials are received you will be notified via email that your child’s spot is secured.

The SAT will be administered digitally through the College Board, using the Bluebook App. Students will use chromebooks to take the test.

If your child needs accommodations for testing, please reach out to me for more information as accommodations need to be applied for through the College Board. The approval process takes at least 8 weeks, so I highly recommend submitting the paperwork as soon as possible, to ensure it is set up in time for testing.

If your child has already been approved for accommodations by the College Board, I  will need your child’s SSD # for the registration process to ensure the accommodations are given. The SSD#  is a number that was given when the College Board approved your child for test accommodations.

Please sign up for SAT School Day testing by December 6, 2024 so we can ensure students are registered and HPS is set up for the spring. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to me through email, mevancho@hunterdonprep.org or phone (908) 832-7200 ext. 16.

Sincerely,

Melissa Evancho
