Polytech opportunities for our high school students

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Today we had a representative from Hunterdon County Vocational School District present to our high school students on the programs offered at Hunterdon County Polytech. Polytech offers career-technical education programs that students can take in high school and through their Adult Ed program to gain hands-on experience, certifications and job readiness skills. There are over 15 different shared time programs that could be options for students. I encourage you to ask your child about the presentation.  Additional information on the specific programs can be found at www.hcvsd.org.

I encourage any student who might have interest in the programs or pathways to meet with me to discuss options. We can discuss how Polytech might fit into their high school program or post-secondary plans moving forward, regardless if they are a current 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grader. Additionally, I encourage those who are interested in Polytech to consider attending their Open House on December 5th, the flyer is attached below. The Open House is a great opportunity for families to visit the programs, meet the instructors and learn more about what Polytech has to offer.

Please reach out to me with any questions. Thank you.

Sincerely,
