Our First Community Service Project of the 2020-21 School Year!

Dear parents and guardians,

Hunterdon Prep strives at all times to be a positive force in our community and the world. During these difficult times, doing everything that we can to provide support and assistance is even more critical. With that in mind, our community service theme for the 2020-21 school year is “Helping the Helpers”. Our first project is a school-wide food drive to benefit the Flemington Area Food Pantry.

A majority of food banks across the country report seeing a record increase in the number of people needing help. Between March and June, roughly 4 in 10 people visiting food banks had not received food assistance before the pandemic.

Our food drive will begin this week and will end on Friday, October 2. A list of needed items is shown below. If you would like to help out with this project, just send donations in with your son/daughter and we will take care of the rest! Students attending virtually who would like to participate can make arrangements to drop off any donations.

Thank you in advance for your help with our first "Helping the Helpers" community outreach project!
