Important Summer Discovery Information

Summer Discovery 2020

July 6- August 14

10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Happy Friday! We are almost 1 week away from Summer Discovery which begins on July 6th! Please reach out to me with any questions at rgeissinger@hunterdonprep.org.

  • In the next few days you will receive two packages in the mail with all of your child’s Summer Discovery essentials. Please make every effort to return forms in a timely manner. These forms will be necessary for your child to be able to participate in any in-person activities that may be offered this summer.  Also, please continue to encourage your child to check their email and Google classroom for Summer Discovery updates and information.  It is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT that your child access both their email and classroom because this is how we can communicate with them.
  • Every student is required to sign up for an elective. If they have not already done so through the Google form that was emailed to them, they will be placed in an elective next week. Every student who is enrolled in the Summer Discovery program will be receiving an email this weekend with their schedule and what they have signed up for. If they have not signed up for anything, the email will say “elective not selected”. Please check in with your child to make sure they receive the email with the schedule and select an elective if applicable.
  • A form for special interest activities was also emailed out. Since some of these special activities require supplies that need to be mailed, your child must sign up in advance to be able to participate. The email with the schedule will also include which activities they have signed up to participate in.
  • Attendance will be taken daily and students are required to attend their scheduled classes. You as a parent/guardian will be notified if your child is missing classes. Please encourage your child to follow their schedule and attend their classes.
