Burn, Baby, Burn! Wood burning week is in full swing and finished projects are starting to emerge. Students chose a saying to burn onto a small garden sign to decorate our front walkway. They burned patterns into the wooden post that will hold the sign and then added color with India ink to stain small parts of the sign.

Everyone seemed to really love this new medium and as the week progressed students became more and more confident using this awesome (and super hot) tool. Can't wait to use it again  during the school year.
Check out the attached  images of some works in progress.
