We are off to a great start at HPS! A sense of optimism and hope is filling our school halls. It is wonderful to see all our students acclimate so easily to their school routines.
At HPS, we strongly emphasize community and connection. Each year, we come together to build a new community and develop shared connections. The Fall Picnic serves as the cornerstone of this vital work. It's not just a fun event, but a crucial opportunity for students to lay the groundwork for relationships and connections that can blossom and strengthen throughout the school year.
This year, our Fall Picnic will be on Friday, Sept. 6th. Students will attend their academic classes in the morning and begin the picnic festivities at lunchtime. HPS will provide hamburgers, hotdogs, and veggie options. We're also asking all students to bring one additional picnic item. It is one of the first ways they will contribute to our school community. Sign-ups for the item will take place in homerooms tomorrow, 9/4.
