On Wednesday, November 9, HPS students will have the opportunity to attend a Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification class offered during school hours. The class will be conducted by members of the Clinton First Aid and Rescue Squad (clintonems.org).
- The class will involve a certain level of physical exertion including demonstration of skills such as rescue breathing and chest compressions.
- To earn certification, a student must be able to successfully demonstrate CPR skills and participate in a group information review session.
- There will be a $10 fee per student. If the $10 fee presents difficulties for your family, please discuss the possibility of a scholarship with the program coordinator, Sandra E. Sanchez-Zutic, RN, CSN by November 7.
